The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Enugu Doicese (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, has applauded Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, for his administration's peace and grassroots development initiatives, which gave the rural dwellers free hands to develop their communities.

Archbishop Chukwuma, who spoke during a Thanksgiving Service for Gov. Ugwuanyi's resounding victory at the polls, held at the Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd, Enugu, stated that the "One Community One Project" programme of the present administration in Enugu State was a good legacy the governor will leave behind at the completion of his second tenure in 2023.

The Archbishop expressed gladness that, "every community can testify that the money (N5m) was given to them" to execute priority projects of their choice.

He also commended Gov. Ugwuanyi for the prevailing peace in Enugu State and the good governance his administration has entrenched, stressing that the Thanksgiving Service was also to appreciate God for the peaceful general election in the state.

Disclosing the service was in collaboration with one of the support groups for the governor, "The New Era Democrats" led by Prince Okwudili Ekoh, the Archbishop pointed out that "we work together to make things happen at the grassroots".

Commenting further on Gov. Ugwuanyi's salient achievements, Archbishop Chukwuma thanked him for reconstructing the historic and undulating Milliken Hill road, Ngwo, Enugu and modernizing it with street lights as well as the Opi-Nsukka dual carriageway, among others, describing them as "legacy projects".

He equally described Gov. Ugwuanyi as a great achiever, good man, humble and caring leader, who is closer to the poor than the rich and cares for them, recalling how he showed compassion and care to a woman selling sachet water at the Enugu International Trader Fair, who was intercepted by his security personel for blocking his way with her products.

"Gov. Ugwuanyi did not only ask his security men to leave the woman, he also gave her money to expand her petty business", the Archbishop said, revealing that "he (Ugwuanyi) celebrated his 55th Birthday with the elderly and orphanages" and told those who brought gifts to him, "take everything you want to give me to the poor".

His words: "Your Excellency, because you have sowed the seed of unity in Enugu State, you don't discriminate, I went to the Roman Catholic University, Godfrey Okoye University, to celebrate your birthday, to break the barrier".

Praying for the governor, the Archbishop Chukwuma said: "God will give you the grace to continue your good works without any obstruction. We congratulate you and your deputy, Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo and all members-elect for the State and National Assembly seats.

Truly, Enugu State is in the hands of the God! #amokelouis

Keep your hustle bro. You are a full time image launderer of Gov. Ugwuanyi but does it not bother you that your threads hardly go more than one page?
Reason: people are not fooled anymore, they know that most of the things you and your colleagues post are just for your hustle. The truth is that Enugu State has never had it this bad. You people even go as far as hiding posts that disagree with your fawning campaigns.

There are several roads that need urgent attention.
Kenyetta Road,
Almost the whole of Achara Layout:
Awkunanaw Street-Ochumba-Etudo
Igbariam Street, Ubaka Street,
Malachy - Unubi- Osumenyi, Vance Streets,
The whole of Idaw River are in a sorry state: Emeka Ebila - Ikiriki - Idaw River - Emeka Ebila
Umuchu - Omachiana - Mount, Akwa Ihedi. Some of the roads there are almost in extinction

Coal Camp areas, Agangwu to mention nut a few,

Many parts of Emene Sooil Plaza Hotel Road
Many places in Abakpa
Many places in Independence Layout, ESBS - Pioneer - Maryland
Sullivan did wonderfully well in constructing Akwatta road in Ogbette market but his successor could have gone father to floor the entrance of Akwatta market if not all to help save the spate of trucks falling. The market is a notable spot for IGR in the state so the traders deserve a good trading environment.

Almost Zero attention is given to rehabilitation or maintenance of Primary and Secondary school structures in Enugu State.

Let's stop celebrating non performance. The money is not personal funds. It's public funds
This is just Enugu City the places I mentioned affected just partly about 3 local governments in Enugu metropolis, remember I didn't mention anything about the plight of about 14 local governments that are not within the city Centre.

Sycophantic and untuos campaigns won't help us.

This Governor Ugwuanyi is so busy copying Governor Obiano of Anambra in almost everything..
First, he copied the Willie Is Working mantra, and pasted it in Enugu as Gburugburu Is Working.. (Not knowing that the WIW mantra started from the campaign mantra of WWW= Willie Will Work).
Then he went ahead and copied Willie's Zero Poteholes agenda for Road Maintenance..
Now, he also copied the N20m Community-Project-of-Choice programme..
Habbbaaaa!!

Well done bro for this.

Gburu is a career politician, that's why I never liked his choice as governor. Okechukwu Itanyi would have done a much better job. All this image laundry you see is to position him for whatever may be coming to the SE in 2023. In terms of projects, he is a joke compared to Sullivan. Even umahi is doing much better than him in terms of projects.
