What if they choose to capitalize on the fact that The SS/SE are PDP by default and also decide to use the VP position as a tool to woo voters from the SW and also revive the “dead” PDP over there. Remember PDP has about 3 states from that zone already.

For me in the first instance, no but in the second instance where i saw an ununited/disunited south east yes. The way the political leaders and governors acted in the Se was a total put off and it is not forgivable. But 2023 is a new page all together .
Even, for me, it is not every southeasterner i can accept as vp. Umahi for eg after his stupid acts in 2019 can never get my vote for any reason. Same with obiano and many others.

Which 3states?
Southwest is vp since 2015,so what do they need vp slot for 2023?
Moreover, in Pdp, SW is the only region that has completed 8years presidency.

People from other regions especially SE live in the SW. A large number of votes came from non indigenes.

You don't have to exaggerate to make a silly point. Don't flatter yourself by claiming credit that is not due you. Atiku won two states in the SW; Oyo and Ondo, and got pretty much 50% in Osun. Those are states with very negligible Igbo presence, yet with strong PDP presence. The only SW state where non-indigenes can be credited for a considerable number of votes is Lagos, yet Atiku lost there.

Op since you are thinking like this, here is a question for you, will you vote apc if for whatever reason they decide to pick a south easterner as presidential aspirant in 2023?

The answer is yes. Whatever will make a yoruba man to not become president in 2023 is what we'll do. The vp post is the least influencial post. Besides, pdp will not take that risk because they need the block votes from the se/ss. The north and the se/ss are enough for them to win the presidency. The yorubas can vote their own in 2023 alone in apc. Mtcheeeew.

Absolute majority of the people that voted for Atiku in the South West were Yorubas.

Don't overestimate the numbers of Igbos and other southern minority living in the South West.

Even in Lagos State, Yorubas are dominating almost all the LGA.

There was a time APGA was always presenting an Igbo man as their governorship candidate in Lagos.

The population of Igbos in Ondo state can't even be up to 5% of the total population in Ondo state.

A lot of Yorubas were disappointed with GMB performance during his first tenure, that's why people voted against him.
