Am sorry, we are not in the 60´s-90´s era. So if a child is being physically abused by the father, the child should let him? Why exactly? Out of respect? In Africa, we don´t even know the true meaning of respect because a child also deserves respect.

Do you hear yourself? A child MUST defend his/herself from abuse. Your rational is wrong. The fact that you brought a child to the world doesn´t give you the right to abuse that child especially physically.
