Earlier today, armed robbers raided a commercial bank in Idoani, Ose local government area of Ondo State.

It was gathered that the robbers stormed the area around 2pm shooting sporadically as they blew open the bank's security door with dynamite.

During the operations that lasted for about 1 hour, some victims including bankers, a police Inspector and about 2 ATM customers were allegedly shot dead.

According to eyewitnesses, some of the gunmen escaped with an unspecified amount of money before the arrival of men of the Nigerian Army.

Luck however ran out on one of them as he was caught by the vigilant soldiers.

who told you told you the guy arrested was among the robbers? Those who robbed must have gone teeyteey before the arrival of soldiers or police. I remember here in Lagos 4 years ago when robbers invaded a bank in Lekki. The police claimed they arrested all of them but a month later, the same gang went to festac to rob and same police said , they've also made some arrests. A month later, they went to ikorodu and our police kept quiet. They keep arresting innocent people to avoid being probed and queried for the security money the association of banks give them. Later we learnt one of those arrested in Lekki cried out, that he was wrongly arrested.

How smart is it to judge an armed robber just his his dressing and looks or did you not see that robbers wear suit and tie, just to fool security?
I am certain there is a reason he was arrested around the scene, instead of the other hundreds of people around the scene.

At times. arresting a "watchman" or "informant" who did not physically partake in a robbery, had led to the arrest of the robbery gang.
If he is innocent, be assured that the military will not detain him unnecessarily.

Just relax and let security do their work.....l know the Police has a knack for arresting innocent people but this guy was arrested by THE MILITARY and we all know that soldiers are not as bad as the Nigerian Police, when it comes to simple corruption like this.
