if you talk about people who don't need power to succeed, take a lesson from the Igbos....... meanwhile the op should go and sit down....... the north will continue in 2023
The op is so annoying. Making igbos look like they don't know what they are doing. Creating a slavish thread.

Kindly desist from opening threads like this on Nairaland cos it only opens the generality of Igbos who did not send you on any "yoruba placating message " open to insults from low-lives..

Any supposed "Southern loss" is going to cut across and not just an Igbo loss. Therefore this thread is very very unecessary

Thank you.
The op is so annoying with his slavish thread.

So how do you get the self determination /restructuring? By making noise online?
Igbos have no leadership or policy making positions so we cant do much.
I am against this thread because the op is making it look like igbos are begging for the position.
Both parties ought to field igbo candidates. That is tge right thing to do and that should be the emphasis not coming here to beg like a slave.

Making noise online is part of it, this is the era of social media. All these useless political positions only benefits the holder of the position, not the people

I don't agree. Online noise is rubbish without strong personalities.
The strongest personalities in the east have refused to speak so what do we have? Nothing.
The north has nothing too but they have political power, that is why they behave anyhow.
If they make one law that will affect us, we will only make noise online. People that were killed in the east, what has happened? Nothing. If northerners were the ones killed by the army, will we at peace by now? No.
See the police and army postings, easterners are posted to the north to be killed. There was noise about it online some time ago, but nothing changed.

We have made mistakes in the past, i hope we can correct them.
Some igbos were disenfranchised in the last election, and nothing has been said or done about it till today.
We need the political power and we need bold and fearless igbos.

Forget it, igbos won't bother fielding a candidate in 2019. They would rather prop-up another Northerner (possibly Kwankwaso or Tambuwal) to 'spite' their arch-nemesis the Yorubas. You can already tell that they aren't really interested in the 2023 presidency. Many of them are already romanticizing the prospects of another Igbo vying as Vp next to another Northerner, unlike the Yorubas whom already have notable politicians already gearing up to succeed PMB. Igbos like the Op are expecting the presidency to be handed to them on a silver platter. cheesy Goodluck with that. Lol.

Oya na, let the Yoruba notable politicians grab it if they can.

Is it a sin that president and vice president should come from south? I believe North Central will support this formation because they are closer to south than north. Everything should not be going to north everytime.

The North will not hand over to the yourba man. Go and write it down. Towards 2023 the yorubas will be at the receiving end.
an Igbo man is not an option either. Power is better left with the hausas than giving it to a greedy Ibo terrorist

Ibo is not an option at moment. You are still romancing secession and allowing Kanu to assault Nigeria. Eliminate ipob Kanu to show you can be trusted with presidency.

when you eliminate Tinubu I will personally campaign for a Yoruba president.

I urge the people of the SW in the spirit of oneness of the south to support and igbo president in 2023. Failure to do this will provide a platform for the north to remain in power beyond 2023.

Allow APC and PDP to present an Igbo candidate and support them for power to return to the south. We all that igbos are the only ones in Nigeria that does not have an Igbo agenda. The norther has Northern Agenda, SW has Yoruba Agenda, but for the Igboman its simply "Fix this country for the good of all or let us go" .

Igbos have investments and live in all regions of Nigeria, therefore every region will benefit from an Igbo presidency. Okonjo Iweala cancelled Nigerias debt, something no other region will aspire to do.

Now, if the Yorubas choose to be clever and field a candidate from the SW in APC, PDP might field a Northern candidate with igbo VP. The northern candidate will win and that will be the end of the 2023 southern presidency.

We igbos have supported presidents from the North, SW,SS it's time everyone supports us.

So please my Yoruba brothers and sisters, dont let your selfishness cost the south presidency in 2023.

Thanks
You better go inside your mud house now with your useless advice and direct your words to your kanu, you mean you forget Biafra and your hate speech you are not serious If you want to be President just go and contest nobody stop you.

No, you lack understanding. grin

North has a right to aspire to dethrone Yoruba or Ibo from power.

Ibo has right to aspire depose Yoruba and Hausa from power.

Yoruba has right to aspire and outmaneuvre Ibo and Hauasa from power.

This is expected.

Likewise, Osinbajo is Christian Southerner, he muat pair with a Northern muslim.

In history of Nigeria and Northern inclusion Kanuri has always been the govt scribe and technocrats....dating back to people like Dipcharima, Monguno, Waziri, Kyari himself. Almost every sector of North, with exception of Borno/Kanuri, has had representation in Presidency or VP position. Dipcharima would naturally have been sworn in in 1966 after Balewa's assassination but Aguiyi Ironsi was sworn instead. No need to go into that story.

So my permutation remains valid.
Osinbajo/Kyari in 2023.
