Whenever we hear about an African leader, the first thing that comes to our mind is corruption, misrule, nepotism, and human rights violation. But in the case of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, it is a different thing entirely.

Despite being dubbed a repressive leader and the allegation of human rights abuses against him, President Paul Kagame has remained one of the most impressive dictators in Africa and a hero to many Rwandans. Why the bold assertion?

I consider him a hero regardless what the western media says or what other African countries supposedly democratic think.

Look at this youtube videos and what one Ghanian impression of the country.

Regardless of the government he is doing something right, what other Africans leaders are not doing. These people came from a war situation so there is no excuses from other African nation.

How many African countries have you visited or researched, to reach this conclusion? Stop making crass, generalised comments devoid of research. There are MANY African countries witnessing fast economic growth and infrastructural development. Go and see what's happening in Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Senegal, Kenya, Gabon, Mozambique, Namibia, Ghana, Botswana, Ivory Coast, among others. It is not only Rwanda. Africa is rising.
