Very true, recently watched in the news when The President had a meeting with Security Chiefs na so so Hausa names dem roll out. It got me wondering though as to why they should flood all the top level positions like this? Majority of them have been there for close to 3 years+ yet the situation of security in Nigeria hasn't changed! If someone is underperforming why won't the presidency remove him and appoint someone else who can do the job? Is it until the citizenry kpeme finish?

Educate the youth, create jobs and empower them. The number of youth going into crime would reduce drastically.

One now begins to wonder what are their governors doing? Why won't they improve the lives of the people that voted them into power? Certain parts of the North always looking under developed, Almajiris has been in existence since , the roads in the remote areas are dusty, no electricity, pipe borne water nill, and they will keep voting in leaders who will take up residence in Abuja leaving their states.

Parents, religious and community leaders should wake up to their responsibilities of raising responsible individuals. Parents should also only have the number of kids that they can cater for.

All of these issues are as a result of disappearing morals / values and rise in the celebration of illicit acquisitions as well as greed and lack of contentment. All these can be managed with proper parenting and teachings.

While we acknowledge the role of the government in job creation and human development, we must always also realize that there are people primarily responsible for the guidance, direction, welfare, education and wellbeing of these young men from cradle to the point where we start talking of engaging them in productive ventures.

I have this cousin whom was improperly raised and people kept lashing the few well-placed members of the family for not wanting to assist him. Eventually, another big cousin of ours who was a Project Manager with a large firm picked him up straight to a project on Snake Island with a salary of between N70k and N100k. This is a young man that doesn't even have JSCE.

What did he do there? He stole at work in less than six months of resumption and was sent packing. He's now roaming around aimlessly and blaming everyone but himself for his fate.

My point is, without the right values it's difficult for these young men to fit into any decent employment and they sure know this.

The first train robbery in this new rail transport will be disastrous. Our government never beliv that train can be hijacked or robbed so no much security provided.

The day they will hit the rail...hahahahaha.....it will be something else. They better be proactive now that many ppl are switching to rail transport.

Good leaders with good visions are there but Nigerians wouldn't wanna vote them just because of tribalism/religion.

They prefer to vote a person from their tribe even if he/she has zero ruling ability.

Enjoy the hell of your own making. All those who had contributed or rigged so that the devilish party would retain power, all these kidnappings should befall them.

They gave people bribe of 1k each to vote their party, after that night the 1k go finished. Now suffering continues and they are here disturbing us with kidnappings.

Cursed Nation.

we have a lot of. problem here in Nigeria.. how can a whole length of road is over ran by bandits and kidnappers... we can't just be seated and wait for heaven to save us... why can't the military deploy drones to monitor the area of interest and arrest the bandits... we can only rants and cry.. why can't we just look deep and nip the bubble once.. if these people shd hijack and rob trains. it gonna be so disastrous and hurtful...

I am just imagining how people are being kidnapped in a road where the minimum speed one can do is 100km/hr even 120km/hr because of how long and vast that road is.

What is the modus operandi of these dare devils ?
