A wedding scheduled for April 7, 2019, for two lovers identified as Ruth & Julius, turned dramatic as their exes stormed the venue with one claiming to still be married.

The couple had reportedly changed the venue of their nuptials from a previously undisclosed location to Global Apostolic Missions Church in Mombasa, in an attempt to escape their exes, but it proved an exercise in futility.

The groom's ex-Sheila Robina Omama, told KTN News that she was still hitched to the groom who has since been identified as Julius Makale Omama.

"We got married in November 2005 and have been blessed with three children having lived together for over 12 years," Ms Omama disclosed.

Police and human rights activists were called to intervene but with minimal success as it was just a case of he said/she said with no tangible evidence.

Interestingly, both exes claimed to have sired three children during their respective marriages which were both coincidentally traditional marriages.

Ms Omama was left to sob inconsolably outside the church as she watched her spouse giving vows of fidelity to another woman.

"I was praying that the wedding would be stopped if only to first have a discussion with Julius regarding the well being of our 3 children," she divulged.

She went on to display one of her children's birth certificate dated January 23, 2016, to prove that indeed her allegations were true, and that Julius was the father to her children.

The bride's former lover, upon identifying himself, kept a low-profile and refused to be interviewed by the media opting to just watch in shock as the mother to his children said ' I do' to another man.

He then disappeared into the crowd after the church declared that Julius & Ruth were now officially wedded

Doors had remained shut during the ceremony with the jilted lovers forced to watch and listen from a distance.

Police advised Ms Omama to seek reprieve from the children's department to ensure her alleged husband looked after their children.
