We all know his too small to play for under 17 in Nigeria
Our under 17 are 25-28 years old above so a 15years old like him will never make it

Lame argument or lame attempt at humor...
2 UK-born and raised Nigerians (Chelea's Akande and Bournemouth's Oluwabusola) made the squad.

The simple reason is our age grade players are all cheats. So a truly talented kids lateef doesnt stand a chance, because he will always be regarded as too small or too fragile. The same way we lost David Alaba to Austria and till today we don't have one like him in left back position.

How did you "lose" what you never had? cheesy

Dude was born and raised in Austria. If he was a criminal, bet you wouldn't not be bitching about "losing" him.

Lateef was treated poorly by the U15 Coach at the last Afcon.
I believe that demoralized the young lad psychologically at the U17 camp.

Dude didn't give his best and he was dropped.
Manu Garba for me is the only Nigerian coach that I know whom to a large extent is fair and transparent. The young lad should be patient and keep working his socks off,he may still have a chance of making the U17 squad for the World cup.

For the records, he still has Nigerian flag on his profile. He comes from a family blessed with immensed football talent. Even his elder sister deserves a look in by Super Falcon Coach,Dennerby.

Dude had a bad experience with the Cadet Coaches at the U15's.So he is not too blame if he reacts the way he did.

He should wait patiently for his time.
Who knows he may be our own Pele.

The kid is just bitter,he will get over it.
He needs our support and love.

How exactly was he treated "poorly"?

First, Nigeria did NOT qualify nor play in the last U17 AFCON (2017)...
But Lateef was taken to the 2018 Africa Youth Games in Morocco as part of the U15 squad (see pic below).

Glad to see as many Nigerians as possible in the mix...
But we should be wary of creating a situation where anyone that declares for Nigeria gets an automatic shirt!

So you are saying that the ones born in Nigeria who also may not ultimately make it to the WC similarly are NOT cheating? Only those 21 players who make it to the WC are cheats?

Same way lateef was born and raised in the US. Alaba was earlier contacted and was elated to rep naija only to be snubbed by the football authority, and was subsequently snapped up by Austria. And how does that translate to bitching by the way. Lol

Dude, you can gain something you didn't have (Lateef)...
You CANNOT lose something that you never had (Alaba). That's akin to "losing" a billion dollars if you never earn that much. grin
