There's a different between being stingy and being prudent. I am sure the wealthiest people give tips and help in some causes and projects to make life better for people in less developed and privileged areas. And most of them give to charities.

I know what I meant and I meant stingy I have worked with a fair few. One who is worth a few billions. Buys things using the smallest coins he has and he will wait for change even if it’s 5 cents. Another never ever tips. Not all who are wealthy are are philanthropist.
