What makes Ibo is not state line. Its cultural homogeneity. Ibo is Ibo. Ibos that settled in Rivers like Jaja or in Delta like Nzeogwu are still Ibos. If Nzeogwu is not Ibo how is Ngozi Iwealla then Ibo, both from Delta State? 2 Likes |

nku5:operation wetie was between two men of the same tribal group,so that doesn't say, ezeagwu should go and murder other tribe in govt. Had it been the murdered politicians were Igbo extraction, their wouldn't be tension built-up all over the country then. That was the genesis of hatred. 1 Like |

olajizz01: How could it be about two men? It was a constitutional crisis. Thousands of people were burnt alive, houses too being burnt down. There was a breakdown of law and order and the FG had to send in soldiers like it is doing in Boko Haram areas today. The FG of that time was colluding with the soldiers to oppress you people and rigged elections in the Western Region in favour of Akintola who was their man. There was tension in the country and people began to cry for intervention. That led men like Nzeogwu and Ademoyega to start planning the coup. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Officialgarri: Now what's your point?, Did they just wake up one morning and destroy the bridge or assassinate Balewa. At this time of your life you shouldn't joke with every thing which I believe is what you intended on doing because that War is beyond what you imagine. True be told, Igbos would have been better off if they had won the war, Argue with your ancestors. 1 Like 1 Share |

Officialgarri:With people like you still existing, I WONDER HOW AND IF THE seeds of TRIBALISM and ETHNIC HYPOCRISY can be effectively weeded out. A word of advice for you and your cohorts, look beyond your ETHNIC / RELIGIOUS Affiliations. We are all ONE and same. If this Nation will attain the GLORIOUS HEIGHTS which have been proclaimed for ages, then YOU and ME have to play our parts respectively, and i dare say it begins with YOU. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Officialgarri: So what are you trying to insinuate now? You are trying to whip up tribalistic sentiments and unnecessary arguments and counter arguments.... It does not worth it. If the arguments were to begin to be raised, you will find out that your story is wrong...let's not go down that memory lane please. |
