Fire burned the Notre Dame church beyond repair on April 15th, 2019. The church is 856 years old and it’s a tourist attraction in the city of Paris, France. It’s a Catholic cathedral. Historian Camille Pascal told French broadcaster BFMTV the fire was destroying “invaluable heritage.” “For 800 years the Cathedral has watched over Paris”, he said. Source
