*Uwuilekhue reveals some NDDC Projects across Edo State*

Edo State NDDC coordinator Hon Uwuilekhue Saturday has listed some projects embarked on by the NDDC under his leadership as State Rep/Commissioner in Edo for 2 years.

Uwuilekhue who spoke on Tuesday in Edo State at the NDDC Stakeholders Forum themed “Peace As A Panacea For Sustainable Development In The Niger Delta Region” said there cannot be peace if the commonwealth of the people is not used to better their life .

While speaking to the audience, he listed some of the completed and ongoing projects of the NDDC under his administration in Edo State which includes

85. Over 4000 school desks and chairs, with writing materials distributed to various schools across the state

86. 16 indigenes undergoing various post graduate degree programs in various university overseas

87. Distribution of fertilizer to farmers

88. Extension services & training of farmers

89. MOU for the construction of Benin/Abraka road with spurs at Evboesi /Urhehue , Ugo - Iguelaba , Aifuwa - Saint savior and 700m Enogie palace road at Idogbo .

Speaking further, Hon. Uwuilekhue revealed that about 166 NDDC project in Edo State are ready for commissioning

Uwuilekhue who’s efforts was applauded by the stakeholders, also said after the 2018 NDDC budget is implemented, there will be more positive dramatic turnaround in the State, as he assured stakeholders.

Shouldn’t they be happy

These NDDC guys are not serious, wasting Nigeria's money. Just look at all the roads they are doing in the New Benin area, where I live. The job is not neat, it's not solid. Plants are already growing out of the roads. And the tar is finding its way small small. The people say the NDDC came to paint the roads. Residents of Eweka road made the workers leave their street, telling them if they don't want to do a good job they should go. And I support them, NDDC has destroyed my street road.

NDDC awards contracts many people get to have a slice of the cake but when state govts award contracts just a few get it.

The contracts NDDC awards appear to be in lots and is quite wide but the state will award what can be said to be Narrow contracts.

Let them report to the necessary quarters, There are some good job NDDC also did well in Benin, don’t generalize your point , other places are not like that, I guess the contractor fault
