Years ago, in the same area of Ogun, my then boss was attacked. 2 hours earlier, he collected around 1.2 million from the bank in Ikeja, entered the car and him and the driver took off for Otta.

Just outside Lagos, robbers attacked their car. Not any other car but their car alone! They beat the driver up, took the money and left. 2 of them took Keke to their final destination. Car was never recovered and neither was the money.

The investigation later revealed that the tip-off to the robbers came from the bank cashier who knew that the bank account is linked to a place in Otta, so robbers suspected that the car will be heading that way.

When dealing with anything of value in Nigeria, be vigilant and don't trust anyone. The police officer you are reporting the case to may even be the one working hand in hand with the criminals.

Hypocrites everywhere in Nigeria,that is why kidnapping thrives,am I my brothers keeper?No,someone was kidnapped in Ogun State, you blame,the President in Abuja,the kidnappers are members of the community,but the community turns a blind eye,a stranger will not come from afar,he will not know his way around a strange environment.

Put police on the streets and everywhere,it will be another cry of police abuse and violation of citizens right.
