Why don't I see you loving Java but advertising that you create Android apps?
.
Aftermath of your idea:
try {
adddlert("trying to advertise profession!"wink;
}
catch(err) {
document.getElementById("Your trick failed!"wink.innerHTML = err.message;
}

I know you are joking with this code but how do u get element by id when your id is "Your trick failed". Your ID cannot be a strings.

Like I said, I know you are catching fun but let us be real sometimes..... A doctor won't come here and joke about a prescription.

I know you are joking with this code but how do u get element by id when your id is "Your trick failed". First of all, ID cannot start with capital letter, secondly your ID cannot be a strings.

Like I said, I know you are catching fun but let us be real sometimes..... A doctor won't come here and joke about a prescription.
That's JavaScript, that's how it is written, the id start with capital letter, and it's not a string, a string would be inside a double or single quote.

I have come across many posts that doesn't say well of Java, making me ask myself and other people this question " Why do programmers run away from Java ?"

I gave an answer which I think couldn't be the reason.

"Verbosity".

Could it be the verbosity of the language or there is another reason?

I love Java, I develop android apps with Java and I love it.

Hi, i also develop Android apps am working on project presently that involves complex calculation... I want us to share idea. With a particular issue am having..!!!
