The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday passed the 2019 budget presented to it by President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2018.

Igbere TV correspondent at the Assembly Complex reports that the sum of N86 billion was added to the N8.83 trillion proposed by Buhari. This brings the budget to a total sum of N8.916 trillion.

The budget was passed after Senator Danjuma Goje, Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriations, presented a report on the floor of the House Tuesday afternoon.

They should let us know the full story for us to justify if it is for good or not, if it is for our interests or their babariga pocket!

We are almost at the end of April and the budget that should run from January 2019 is just being passed.

Budget 2018 has not been accounted for. All they want is money appropriation for SPENDING!
