A Good Samaritan reportedly lost his job, marriage and also got imprisoned after helping 19-year-old lady who lied against him.Kenan Basic who stopped to help the teenager for over 2 hours in November last year after she crashed her car and pulled into a BP in Bankstown, in Sydney's south-west, ended up spending two weeks in a maximum prison and also lost more.

While a CCTV footage captured the entire interaction and shows the pair chatting happily and even embracing before she drives away, the woman told  the police that Mr Basic indecently assaulted and stalked her.The allegation against Mr Basic which include propositioning the 19-year-old girl for sex in return for his help before following her and once again propositioning her, made him spend two weeks behind bars in Silverwater Prison as it was further gathered that he is now going through a divorce because of the false charges.

On Monday, all charges against the Good Samaritan who lost his job, marriage and also got imprisoned after helping the lady, were dropped after the woman broke down when pressed by detectives in an interview. She finally told the truth - that she'd been lying about the accusations. The teenager is now facing a charge of knowingly making false or misleading statement and will appear in court next week.

The 36-year-old married father-of-one spent almost two hours helping her get her car back on the road and a CCTV captured the entire interaction and shows the pair chatting happily and even embracing before she drives away.

Days after his act of kindness, Basic was facing serious sexual charges and spent two weeks behind bars in Silverwater Prison. He also lost his job and is now going through a divorce because of the false charges.
