What we think affects our body. The little things that we do affect both our mind and body and its essential for students especially to remain mentally and physically active so that they can function appropriately in their daily life’s and not get tired. As students, we are sensitive to our surroundings, and each and everything can affect us. Either it’s a bad comment from someone, or it's the burger we ate at a restaurant. In order, to remain happy and physically healthy, it’s necessary that we take care of ourselves. These are the following tips a student should at least try to work on to be mentally and physically active:

1. KICK THE BAD HABITS
It’s essential for your physical and mental health being both to kick your bad habits and try to get rid of them soon as you can. These bad habits can include eating junk food, consumption of caffeine or sugar, etc. To avoid junk food, it’s better to start by controlling the cravings that you get and to plan your meals accordingly. 2. SLEEP
Six to eight hours of sleep is crucial for a student to stay fresh throughout the day. Not getting enough sleep can significantly impact our mental and physical well being. 3. REDUCE STRESS
From academic pressure to reaching everyone’s expectations can take a toll on us. It can cause a lot of stress that can indirectly affect our body. Stress can result in heart or digestive problems. It’s essential to take some time out for you and to have fun once in a while to make that stress go away. Meditation and doing things you love can keep the stress level much lower than you expect it too and can have a significant impact on the other areas of our lives too. As a student, there can be times when you feel lonely. 9. DANCE
One thing that can make students enjoy their time but also help them physically is dancing. Every student should at least once take dancing lessons. It makes you feel better, and your age better because, with dancing, you get to perform all those moves that you thought you couldn’t. It boosts your confidence levels. It helps us feel connected to other people of your age groups, and it improves your muscle tone, strength, endurance, and fitness.

10. VOLUNTEER
Volunteering can be a great way to feel productive and happy, but at the same time, it causes you to use your brain and energy. Volunteering will expand your social circle. It helps to fight against stress, anxiety, and depression. If you volunteer with pets, they can improve your mood and reduce all the stress you have been carrying. It increases your brain functioning because when you are volunteering, you are moving and thinking at the same time.
