Happy Sunday everyone..
I know many of us here are singers, instrumentalists, ministers etc, and have in one way or another once joined or are still in a choir. So I'll be sharing with us 20 types of people you most likely come across in a Nigerian church choir. Stay tuned

1 The ones that will never wear choir robes

These ones are very stubborn, they will never wear their robes.. They'd rather wear things like t-shirts, jeans and simple clothes. They prefer to be suspended than for them to wear any robes..

2 The ones that don't ever come early to rehearsals

They are always the last to show up at rehearsals. If rehearsals starts by 4pm, you will now see them crawling in around 6pm with lame excuses

3 The overzealous ones

These kind of people are the ones that come like 2 hrs before rehearsals to clean the church, mop, and do some other things and still even do the same when the rehearsals are over,, as if they are in ushering and choir at the same time..

Re: 20 Types Of People You Meet In A Nigerian Church Choir by Lotel: 12:52am On May 12, 2019
4 The very busy ones

You only see these kind of people rarely, maybe like once or twice in 2 months.. They are always very busy with one or two things that hinder them from coming to church..

5 The ones that can never sing except there is sound and instruments available

These ones will never sing except there is microphone available. Most especially girls
They always be like "I don't want to strain my voice" yen yen yen

6 The ones that can neverr share mic with another person

These ones are very stingy with mic, they can never share with you. They'd prefer not to sing and will even give you the mic to sing alone than for the both of you to sing together from one mic..

10 The ones that don't ever take lead

These ones are very shy and timid, you can never see them taking lead. If by chance they are appointed to take lead for a particular song, you will never see them in church on the day of the performance.
All they do is backup backup backup and will never take lead.

13 The ones that are 100%committed

These ones will always arrive at rehearsals at least 30 minutes before rehearsals start, always come early to services and do the other necessities but they sing nonsense..

15 The "singers"

These ones can sing flat for Africa.. Most of them are always proud and not willing to learn upon the crap they sing. No matter how you correct them, they will always sing what they want to sing. The leaders don't ever give them songs to lead because they know they will do "justice" to it.
