Abia-North Senator (elect) Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has this evening joined Muslims to break their day's fast. The Deputy Senate President hopeful was hosted to a fast breaking dinner at the Abuja residence of Alhaji Kassim Imam a former Special Adviser to President Obasanjo. He wrote via his official twitter account: "As a committed Catholic it was indeed a wonderful pleasure to join my Muslim brothers this evening for prayers & fast breaking at the residence of Alhaji Kassim Imam. That's cool....But some frustrated hungry religious bigots will start abusing him..what they fail to realise in life is;the richer and more influential one becomes in society,the less religious sentiment one has in his mind...that's reality. |
