The Dangers And Evils Of Examination Malpractice On The Students by PetersKID(m): 1:57pm On May 14, 2019
The false hope associated with examination malpractice erodes the zeal therein in a student to prepare ahead for an exam.
The passion for true success is and replaced by a desire for one to be admired for what he is not truly worth.
The self confidence to face an exam when one has earnestly prepared for the exam will be lacking in a student who relies on examination malpractice, and when a young person lacks the confidence to face the challenges of examination, he might as well lack confidence to face other challenges of life.
When a student puts aside any thought of examination malpractice and maps out ways to prepare to face the challenges of examination, and then zealously works out his plans, and ultimately succeeds in the exams he has prepared for, his self confidence to face life challenges in general sowers. So, to rely on exam malpractice instead of preparing for the exam is to erode yourself confidence to face the challenges of life in the future.
To pass an exam through cheating is to create a sense of hollowness within one. There is something infinitely greater than the impressive grades that a paper certificate showcases:it is how much knowledge, skills and ability you have to show in defence of the grades the paper certificate carries. Because they succeeded through acts of examination malpractice, many people carry around results and certificates which they cannot defend. You can imagine the disgrace and embarrassment when you face an interview panel or a situation in which your knowledge is called forth and under such a condition, you are unable to state basic definitions, principles and concepts in subject in which your certificate shows that you scored an A or B. When you cannot defend your result, you feel guilty others praise you but deep within you, you know you are not deserving of the praises. You can not tell people not to praise you for your good result but your conscience deals you blows because someday, Sometime, life will require of you to face challenges that are a match of what you claim to know (as contained in your result) and of course, you cannot give what you do not have. You may have succeeded in cheating, in deceiving others, but there is always a day of reckoning. You can not continue to be an agent of deception in a system that God almighty is working to refine. Your conscience will find you out. Like they say ,conscience is an open wound only the truth can heal it. In all matters of examinations, let your conscience lead you. You don't have to cheat to pass. If you start preparing early, if you work hard enough, passing the exams will follow naturally and with this kind of success follows your peace of mind an internal peace that the grades in your result cannot give but only your conscience can assure
