Thank you for ur prompt response @hayoakins

I appreciate

hayoakins:

It is better to be safe than sorry, I will advise you scan or both old and new however the bio pages should be explicitly labelled so that the VO will not assume you submitted only an expired passport.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by TemiGee: 11:49pm On Jun 16, 2019
Thank you very much for this @johnnybravo1990.

cool

johnnybravo1990:

Please scan only your present passport. So I did. I didn’t get any ADR asking me to send pages of old passports. As far as I am concerned, a ‘valid travel document which you will use to travel’ is a passport which has not expired.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by TemiGee: 11:51pm On Jun 16, 2019
Thanks @Stencil.

God bless you

Stencil:
Attached says "valid" travel documents. Your new passport is valid, the old one isn't.
Just the new one is required.

thanks... but does it matter that my bachelors is a science degree?? Considering one the educational requirements of NOC 1111 are
Chartered accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
and
Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
Certified general accountants and certified management accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a training program approved by the Society of Certified General Accountants or Society of Management Accountants and several years of on-the-job training
and
Certification by the Certified General Accountants Association or the Society of Management Accountants.
Auditors require education, training and recognition as indicated for chartered accountants, certified general accountants or certified management accountants
and
Some experience as an accountant.
Auditors may require recognition by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
To act as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings, auditors and accountants must hold a licence as a trustee in bankruptcy.
Licensing by the provincial or territorial governing body is usually required for accountants and auditors practising public accounting.
No, it doesn't matter at all. Carry on

Good day everyone, please I need a safe advise.

I worked in a formal environment for 5 years before I resigned 2 years ago to start my entrepreneur hustling (farming) in an informal ways.

My question are;

can I skip the entrepreneur hustling from my work experience in express entry and use only my 5 years experience in formal environment?

Is there any consequence for not declaring my work engagement in the last 2 years?

I am studying for the bcs exams,to boost my crs points..but I am still scared. When they remove tradeau, won't it get stiffer?

Yes. You can claim your wprk experience from the 5years in a formal setting while your farming can go to the PH section of your application.

I hope this 5years was garnered in the last 10years?

If your letter reflected nysc..just add your nysc bank statement for that period with a LOE stating extra payment from nysc.

Actually, I claimed early childhood educator from 2012-2017 and I was fortunate to receive letter of interest from Nova Scotia in it's last draw. I'm just concerned if Nova Scotia nominate me and I receive ITA, I hope there won't be questions about my last 2 years activities because I want to try in avoiding unnecessary documentations like tax and bank cash flow.

NOTE: I don't want to claim any experience for the last 2 years

I had exactly the same score, wrote with BC, 23rd May. Although I've applied for a remark.
kaylov12:

Hello, can u please share the writing material with me on [b]dammymesi@yahoo.com. I have never had a problem with writing until my last attempt which wad mean to ace my points. Guess what ? LSRW 8.5, 7.5, 8.5, 6.5. I was sad to think i was waiting to be on a 467 unaccompanied or 455 accompanied. I have a feeling the examiner doesn't like jayz's style of agree or disagree. Not relenting @ my 3rd attempt, going on the 4th, cos i never know when EOR will be released judging people's comment here.

It is better you include it in personal history after ITA, so as to avoid misrepresentation. You won't need documents for experiences in your personal history.

Good day everyone,

I have been on Australia thread for long, reading and preparing for PTE until yesterday that someone advised me on the thread that Canada would be easier for me with my Msc. So quickly searched for Canada thread, upon getting here, I found out it’s another reading task. I have started the reading here, but with up to 8 parts, I get disturbed. Infact i have calculated my point, I didn’t get up to 350, maybe I didn’t calculate well

I’m 33 years of age,
ND in Civil Engineering in 2005
Bsc in Civil Engineering in 2010
Msc in Civil Engineering in 2018
I have minimum of five year working experience
I’m single.

My questions are:
Considering my profile, do stand better in Canada PR?
Which of the parts of this thread will be the most important to read?

Can I get straight forward tips from a civil engineer here that has similar profile ?

Thanking you in anticipation.

MY STORY
The journey ALMOST started in 2016, I was duped by an agent who told me he will get me a job offer, and after I had coughed out hundreds of thousands of naira I knew I was just wasting my time so I gave up and forgot about the whole thing(then I didn’t know about this thread). Sometime in March 2018 my friend and classmate got her Visa and travelled, I was shocked. How? I asked. Well apparently if I evaluated my document with PEBC instead of WES I would have the same score as someone that has masters (the foolish agent didn’t even know this). So without wasting much time I applied with PEBC. That was when JOHESU decided to go on strike which further delayed my Document evaluation. It took me 8 months to get my ECA by then I had already gotten my IELTS. Do NOT be deceived by this statement, it took me 3 attempts and plenty heartbreak by BC before I got my desired result. On 23rd October I created my express entry profile. I had booked my medicals for 26th October with Children’s Practice. I remember some people on this forum were crying about that at the time but I no send them. I did my Medicals on the 26Th October and got ITA on the 29th Oct, 2018.
The race for POF was real. I had prospective buyers for my business but I did not want to sell until I was sure. And so once I got my ITA I initiated the sale of the biz. However this only generated about 60% of POF (family of 4) the balance was gift deed. I submitted my application and got my AOR 23rd Nov. I remember monitoring the MEP/BIL receipt on our Nov AOR group and I was so sure of the time frame I will get mine that I even went ahead made travel arrangements to go to Lagos. I was supposed to travel with my brothers after the Xmas celebration, Do my Biometrics on 7th Jan before coming back to Ph. On the 2nd of Jan I remember when I saw the update mail I heaved a sigh of relief and opened my profile expecting to see MEP/BIL and what did I see? YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED. My heart literally stopped for a few seconds. I quickly downloaded the letter and I saw the reason they gave was I did not upload my marriage certificate. I raced to view my submitted application and lo and behold the second item was marriage certificate and In place of it I had uploaded police certificate. I must have gone through that “view submitted application” like 10 times before that day and I did not even spot the mistake. To say I was devastated was just an understatement. At the same time I was disgusted with myself like how could I have been so careless. I remember talking with Ramj and he was just encouraging me but I wasn’t even hearing cos my ear was ringing so loud. Thank you @Ramj, you won’t know what your support meant to me at that time.
Well, I had to start all over again. I entered the pool again and waited for the next draw. God just pitied me and I got ITA again and this time around my AOR was Jan 25th. If it was now with their crazy draws I don’t even know what I would have done with my meager 444. After I submitted my 2nd application I actually had panic attacks asking myself what if I omitted something Again. To make matter worse I got an update in my account on 6th March; MEP but no BIL. Hmmmm the anxiety no be here on. I went through my application again and again and again; Then I noticed when I was asked have you ever applied for VISA before I checked NO- not counting my previously cancelled application. Na wah which kind life be this. I quickly raised a CSE explaining that I did not understand the question and uploaded the cancellation letter( it probably wasn’t necessary because the application was cancelled not denied). SIX days after I passed medicals I got my BIL; Wow, the relief!!!!!

THE WAIT AFTER BIOMETRICS
I somehow convinced myself that about a month after Biometrics I will get PPR, so from 12th March I thought latest April ending I will get My PPR which was fine because May ending my rent was expiring and I planned to travel as soon as I got COPR. You would think that the universe will pity me after the cancellation and give me PPR sharp sharp. For where… I found out my VO was OTTAWA, hmmm ok at least it’s not Accra. The silence in my account was deafening. I told myself no need to order GCMS notes before it comes my PPR will be out (Funny cos I still haven’t gotten the GCMS NOTES). The wait was CRAZY. I think the hardest part was the cluelessness. Like if CIC will tell me I will give you PPR Jan 2020, its far yes but at least I can plan accordingly, but this one what do I do. Do I renew rent? Do I ask for 6months? What if the six months comes and goes still no PPR. I don’t think in my life I have ever been as anxious for anything as this. I tried to distract myself; I registered in a saloon to learn hair dressing, it really helped cos combining it with my Job I always get home very exhausted and sleep like a log, and so time seemed as if it was flying by. That’s how Accra started Dishing out PPR Oh and Ottawa people went on vacation. Chai… No word, Nothing!!!! March passed, April Passed, May passed Nothing!!!! I got into the habit of raising CSE constantly, at least let it be as if I’m hearing from CIC. Lol. Until one time they gave me one generic response like that, I was pissed off eh. Hubby was like you too stop raising CSE Haba!!! I ordered GCMS notes that’s when GCMS buddy started having delays, I didn’t want to waste my lifeline and mail Ralph, so I waited. I can’t count how many times I opened my application and all I was seeing was Submitted!!! That Submitted can kill morale eh!!!

And then came PPR…
Finally someone mentioned in our Jan AOR group that he saw a ghost update so I causally checked and lo and behold instead of submitted I saw Application/profile updated. GHEN GHEN!!! Willy willy don show. Next morning no PPR Hian, I finally mailed Ralph. He replied about 6hrs later. Criminality passed, Eligibility and security check have not been initiated. Ok… its something…. That same evening another Ghost update. I was happy eh, that weekend we went and took passport (for those in ph instead of paying 2k @ studio 24 you can use Redkarpet its just 500 naira. Imagine family of 4 instead of paying 8k like we did when we wanted to submit our application we paid 2k). Finally 4 days after the second Ghost update I Got a 3rd Ghost Update. And the next morning the Golden Mail!!! I remember setting alarm for 2 am so I can check for the mail but my internal alarm woke me up around 1:45am, I just picked my phone to keep beside me for easy access and in the process glanced at it and I saw CPCO-Final Request. Oh the Joy!!!!! My profile was reading 42 days remaining…

I will like to appreciate those that have walked this journey with me, For my Nov AOR people I apologize for the abrupt manner I left the group, I was just too heartbroken to stay. @Ramj told me one day, once a Nov AOR member always a Nov AOR member. Chai, It touched me eh!!!

Then for my Jan AOR people, hmmmmm I should reserve a FULL page for you guys. You are just something else. Characters Eh, wonderful people, so warm, funny and giving. I have already met great people in that group and I just know we will be lifelong friends. Thank you for all the encouragements, the journey is not over yet, but with you guys by my side I’m not afraid. For those still waiting on PPR it will surely come just ready your shoulder pads…

Thank you my Nlanders, This forum gave me a wealth of information that made this journey successful, all the prominent contributors that keep this thread alive thank you for all the good that you do….
