Life in a state of nature is wicked, brutish, and selfish; where humans are ready to forgive the murder of their parents but not the seizure of property.
I Ponder on this statement then shake my head in despair.
On your own, justify this assertion from when Cain killed Abel due to greener state of his plantation. But saner countries realized this and made hay before sunlight, and now there are balances in their dealings.
Can you justify the condition of the world, Nigeria in particular to the advent of civilization as the problem of today? That will be an Ill-thought!
We quickly blame the Eurocentric writers as seeing Africa be without science, art, and philosophers as an erroneous claim; still, we keep on to
wallow in a state of self-deception.
The leaders are shadows of themselves who make the citizens as subjects of slander and deliberate scoundrels depriving them necessities to develop and see beyond today; thus, we seek a means for survival by embracing social vices to enliven pangs of poverty ripping through our fleshes.
Contrarily, there is a handful of us pushing to the distance of the journey and fighting with all our might with believing that there are contempt and joy at the end of the tunnel, and ye have found it as indeed there is.
But what of us who don't have those patients, the zeal, the enabling environment, the right empowerment, and the means to rely on and push for ours?
You can see that we are not lazy, but victims of the nation's circumstances.
The question is, who are we to blame for the problems of Africa and Nigeria in particular?
