Manchester City player, Raheem Sterling has admitted that he use to be a fan of his club’s rivals, Manchester United.
According to the 24-year old who has had another successful season under Pep Guardiola at City, he grew up admiring Manchester United.
Scoring 17 goals and adding 10 assists in 34 Premier League games this season, the England International revealed he admired United even before he played for Liverpool.
Sterling said he was at the 2007 FA Cup final, which saw Chelsea defeat United at Wembley.
“I was at the final in 2007,” he told the Mirror
“I shouldn’t really say this — not now, definitely not now! — but when I was young, I was a massive United fan.
“I had an old United kit, from when they won the last FA Cup.”
