Is Nigeria better than USA, Ukraine, Canada etc that legalized medicinal marijuana. The problem is some of our leaders are illiterate, and after they will still come out and say this state is not viable. This is a herb created by God which has cured so many chronic diseases. Wake up FAILED COUNTRY
The problem is lack of real federation.

In America, some States have legalised abortion even while Donald Trump and his Republican Party hates it and there is nothing they can do.
.
Some States have legalised marijuana while some have not.

The president that will unbundle Nigeria to real federated units would be the greatest president of all times

By that logic are you ready to legalize magic mushrooms? Yes or no.

I don't know what is magic mushroom until I make research on it. All I know is that Indian hemp contains THC aka Tetrahydrocannabinol. This is very potent for chronic ailments. If your dear magic mushroom is dangerous, is that the reason why you should base your argument sentimentality. Guy go and make research, I am a chemist by profession and I can beat my chest confidently and tell you it's good if controlled by medical personnel

The constitution needs amending since srugs abd poison under exclusive list.

Prostitution can be legalized with law change at federal level. It could be vetoed easily though.
Amend the constitution and relinquish power to the states.
In exchange for such powers, remove immunity status to prevent abuse of such new powers.

It would take a patriotic president to do that.

I encourage a marijuana cultivation that'll move from farm to the factory only for medicinal production purposes not for smocking.

Advance countries of the world are now extracting CBD oil from marijuana while expelling the THC aspect of it that makes people high.

If this is what akeredolu is canvassing for he should be supported.

Oga, we nor go fit handle marijuana cultivation now abeg.

We shouldn't just jump in favour of it cultivation without critical elemental evaluation.

I am against Akeredolu on this. The time for that has not come. At this stage, it will largely serve for illicit consumption; and with the level of insincerity in the Nigerian system, coupled with our weak institutions, this will aggravate crime rate in the country with only a few profiting from it. Akeredolu obviously is more interested in the economic side to this.

In a country with:

a) Porous borders.

b) Inaccurate database of its population.

c) No community police.

d) Underfunded and ill-trained law enforcement officers.

The next thing for governor Akeredolu is cannabis plantation ba? No wahala.

Did the developed countries whom Sowore recommend Nigeria should copy start by planting cannabis?

Did they not get their education, science and technology and manufacturing right first?

U need a class in history... Lemme give u a quick one, ogogoro which is produce from pure palm wine tree after going through some natural process, is now regarded as dangerous and unhealthy for consumption while we import chemically formulated gins from abroad, dry gins, and so on... The west label our authentic ogogogoro, hazardous to health but theirs which is actually hazardous to health is being looked at as good... Stay there, same thing is about to repeat itself again, some other smaller African country are already in the business... Between, nowhere u turn in this country that u wount see igbo, u can even buy from ndlea officers, and for the record, cigarette that is legalize is more dangerous to health than igbo that is being asked to be commercialised (not legalize for consumption)

I don't know what is magic mushroom until I make research on it.

I just wanted to see if you're philosophy on plants made by God would be consistent. My answer is yes, besides Colorado just legalized it the other day.

A psilocybin mushroom is one of a polyphyletic group of fungi that contain any of various psychedelic compounds, including psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin.

Have fun researching.

Yes actually in the United States hemp was planted at least a whole century before it became illegal. Human being have been using plant for thousands of years before that.

They did all at the same time.

The president doesn't start the process you know. Its the NASS then state assemblies. Its even debatable if presidential assent is required. Buhari supports LG autonomy but ut hasnt passed because state assemblies have refused to vote on it.

Whether it is legalised or not, Nigerians will continue to grow, sell, buy and smoke marijuana.

It is ok to for our political leaders to steal and have sex with underaged girls but it is not ok for adults to smoke marijuana. Useless bastards.

And u think that will be strictly adhered to in our own Nigeria?? We both know it certainly not be strictly adhered to. Cultivating it for medicinal use is highly welcomed but the problem is our dubious ways as a people.
