Inasmuch as I prefer NAS and BAN to the other confraternities, I can never advice it.
Once you get into fraternity matters, you get into many dark and diabolical things. On the surface, pirates looks pretty cool that I myself have considered joining. But Joining brotherhoods in Nigeria is a risky thing and can be a wooing ground for other societies. Your uncle can say Pirates changed his life but he will not mention other things involved that secured his career.
