When the pastor is boring, not practical or cannot relate Bible scriptures with instances or real life scenario thus making him too theological, it bores people

Secondly when a pastor talks too much preaching. When you as a pastor preaches for 4 hours ,kiloletoyen? Meanwhile this is Africa where people have been indoctrinated that your pastor is unquestionable and people want to appear like a saint on Sunday, thus endure the boring long talks and you know when you sit for long hours listening to a boring speech,the body and mental faculties begins to feel weary and thus shuts down gradually that's why sleep comes

Devil isn't responsible for sleeping in church. It is mainly because people hardly have time to rest from Monday morning to Saturday evening. Same fatigue is responsible for people sleeping in Lagos yellow buses despite being uncomfortable, heat, noise, offensive smell, bad roads etc

Why spiritual people don't sleep in church?

Why do slow rhythmic taps put a child o sleep? Maybe lets start from there. If you in church and you are not very active for an extended period of time, even he sound of the speakers may have sedative effect. Lol. You will just be hearing it as if its coming from afar. Someone will be suspecting me now as a sleeper. Lol. The main culprit though is inactivity and that's why people sleep more during sermons.

U can't sleep when pastor flo (coza Lagos) is preaching. Its just not possible. U won't even know when the time is up

devil don't want u to hear the word, if u are a true Christian, no preaching supposed to be boring to u, after all they are meditating through God's words

My church is so boring that I sit right in front of loudspeakers....I still sleep really comfortable....I think it’s devils work tho.....if you been to Celestial church you would know how big there speakers are ....

*The major reason why people sleep in church and other events is because you don’t prepare for the service. Just imagine you have a meeting that’s very important to you, you will try to get ready and get all you will need a day before. In the case of church services, some people sleep late on Saturday night and just do some things that will eat into their sleeping time. Besides, even when the teaching is boring, if you want to stay awake you will consciously fight sleep. So basically amongs other reasons, it is solely dependent on you to stay awake. *

Let's be physical and forget all these spiritual things that no nobody on earth really understands. I don't think there is a devil sef. Its just an imaginary person that people blame bad happenings on when they don't know what to blame.
Sleeping in the church is due to boredom. Nobody sleeps when a funny preacher is preaching. All these religion stuffs are confusing and none is truly sufficient. The real religion should be LOVE. I hate it when I see beggars in front of churches and only very few people give them money but during church offering and donations you will see crowds going for it.
Is a any church project or even the building more important than a single soul?

There is nothing new under the sun. Things that happen today as we worship God have been happening since worship services began. There are those who are excited, others who are in awe, some who are confused, and yes, some who are asleep. We like to think of Paul as a mighty gospel preacher, and he was (Acts 24:25).




However, when Paul preached one Sunday in Troas, a young man named Eutychus fell asleep and eventually fell out of a window (Acts20:7-12 ). I would like to think that if Paul came to our congregation and preached people would be all ears, but the truth is, that might not happen. As great as God is, and as privileged as we are to be able to worship God, why is it that some people sleep in church comfortably even with the loud speakers ?

When it's time for praise you would see almost everyone dancing different styles and sweating profusely, but few minutes into the sermon people are already dozing off?

Above all we all need prayers.
