Last night, I paid a courtesy visit to an Elder Statesman and an illustrious son of Ogun State; former President of Nigeria, and our dear father, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and his wife, Mrs. Bola Obasanjo. Characteristically, Baba offered me candid advice on sundry issues of governance in Ogun state and wished me well as I pilot the affairs of the Gateway state. I am not a fan of OBJ but he surely has a deep and wide wealth of knowledge and experience to share. I am sure the interaction, if it is devoid of mutually suspicion, would have added to Governor Abiodun's knowledge and inspired some good policy and program ideas. A very good way to start unlike some governors who started off by destroying the projects of their predecessors. 1 Like |

Hmmmm.... Baba is trying to be relevant at home. Last time he was commissioning bridge and today governor of his state is visiting him. I pray the relationship last. Baba has always look down on his people even before he became General.
