The Peoples Democratic Party has described Gov. Yahaya Bello as wicked, heartless for saying he is not owing workers in the state salaries, said such lies are only told by minds that are made in hell.
The PDP in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola, spokesman of the party, reacting to statements credited to the governor that he is not owing salaries lamented that the governor has lost every modicum of honour the office of Governor bestowoed on him, stooping so low to deny that he is not owing salaries of workers.
The party pointed out that the past administration of the PDP left a clean slate, having paid forty six months salaries to workers, wondered why a man who led to death, suicide and permanent disabilities of Kogi workers would have the shameless courage to deny owing workers.
The PDP notes that the governor having accessed all allocation this year has not paid any salaries in 2019, collected N30billion bailout, Paris club refunds, infrastructure refunds and took loans of over N50 billion from commercial banks yet could not pay salaries.
The PDP laments that the administration aside looting the state resources in building personal houses in Okene, Lokoja, Abuja, owned choice properties in Dubai, Los Angeles, would lose his shame to deny owing salaries when it is on record that Kogi workers are owed between eight and thirty eight months salary arrears.
The PDP described Gov. Bello as a dishonest and wicked leader said his attempt to shift the blame of salary arrears on previous government is satanic, a product of inhumanity against man, characteristics of the administration foisted on Kogi people.
The PDP says no amount of lies would cover up for the Gov. Bello’s lack of capacity, the financial sleaze associated with his administration prayed God to deliver Kogi people from such evil and bad intentioned people in the coming years.
