1. Federal University Of petroleum

The Federal University of petroleum resources
[FUPRE] was established in 2010. It is located
in the outskirts of the popular city of warri in
Delta state which is a major part of the Niger
Delta region.
The university was started with the aim of
training proffesionals in the oil and gas industry
of which Marine Engineering is a big role player.
They have four engineering departments
alongside the department of Marine engineering
and Naval architecture. FUPRE is currently the
only federal University (aside the newly
established NMU) offering B.eng/B.tech in
Marine engineering.
