Nobody is commenting. If it's a buharis post or igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba, you would see ignorant Nigerians using imported phones here on nairaland abusing themselves in disgrace. Na only read them go dey read stuffs like this. See advance countries that least dwell on religion or tribal bigotry. Nigerians wake up. Know that ur enemy is ur very own self. Biafran or no biafran, Nigeria is decaying and wizkid, burna boy, put no, or olamide can't save it. Not to mention buhari.

this seems like it would record more fatalities if ever it crashed, as against the regular aircraft designs we are already used to

It'll need more than just those two engines.. it'll need at least twin engines to successfully fly that monster.

Bros it does not start from the universities. If you want such research you will need to overhaul the entire Nigerian system of education. It starts with the way we think. Whites hold a view where they see things as not impossible to achieve. From their homes to their schools they are taught to see things as such and they then grow with such confidence. This is apart from the fact that their government prioritises education while still seeing it as a fundamental right that each of its citizens should have. They fund their public school system to the fullest so please tell me why they won't attract the best minds who develop groundbreaking tech such as this.
It's not just the funding we need to look at, there is something fundamentally wrong with us as people. How do you explain wicked lecturers victimising students under them? Telling them all sorts. Our environment encourages that, their environment never condones such. These things generally add up and produce what you are now seeing. It's one of the reasons why on the average most of our guys here when they relocate tend to do better. But it's not just the university system and it is not just funding as ASUU would have u believe, we need to look at the whole thing. We need to look inward and look at ourselves.

Sometimes I wonder what is been taught in Nigerian universities offering Engineering as well as medicine.
Most of these breakthroughs are being researched in mostly universities.
Well basically theories and ancient notes from lecturers used in their own time.

Totally agree with you. It all begins with the way we think which obviously is not improving as long as this country is concerned.

it is the mindset and inclination of the typical black nigger African that is to blame for the advanced foolishness you see in Nigeria and indeed most of SSA

it is the mindset of:
1)wanting to enjoy perks without putting in the work
2) outsourcing your responsibility to invisible spirits be it Ifa, Allah or whatever (this is the worst)
this is the reason why the churches and mosques are so full, and religious leaders so powerful in Nigger Africa)

3) Having a clannish and closed mentality, plus feeling your ethnic group is superior (there are a whole lot to learn from each others costums and ways of life, but because in his heart's of hearts, a Yoruba for example will claim superiority and feel there is nothing to learn from the "inferior" culture of the other side; hence his stagnation)

for climes with open minds, they go EVERYWHERE to learn...
and they know that knowledge is across and you have to go there to get it

Centuries of explorations got the Europeans where they are today and they are still exploring (China et al are the new places they are going to learn and observe on how ti do things better)

but the Africans, it's to claim empty superiority complex

Africans who have broken free from that nigger failed mentality achieve exploits both at home and in the global stage

this above my friend, is the PROBLEM with Africans

Oyibos already planning for 2040,

and we are here blaming those that lead us in 1999,
you know this country is cursed??
The funny thing sef is that the whole of Africa has woken, they will soon leave us behind,
the once Giant of Africa will soon be the Virus of Africa.
