Michelle knew she was one of the people who never had luck on her side no matter how hard she tried. From getting her parent’s good genes to getting good grades, she always seemed to fall short.

So, after a while, she stopped trying to compete with anyone, her siblings or classmates, she learned to accept herself just the way she was.

Then one day, way into her university days, she had a friend that had been hospitalized after taking ill. It was at that point she tried remembering if she had ever been ill, and it turned out she hadn’t.

To be her age and never experienced even one ailment, she realized she was indeed lucky, not in the obvious way many others were, but hers was way better.
