And their representatives....some of them are just as corrupt as their Nigerian counterparts (yes!)...but because their citizens keep them on their toes, they end up doing some good work.

the mind set of white man is differential from black man . have you ever see any african leader that resign willingly ? that can't happen. democracy in Nigeria is another ball entirely , the government system encourage poverty, gives room to crime and make the citizens to vulnerable for any means to survive.
