Afonja007:
oga obasanjo is only president from Yoruba land abiola is never one time president so you can't compare obasanjo and abiola
A president who is not appreciated in his home, is that one a president?

A former president who couldn't win his polling booth for his anointed candidate, is that one a respected president?

In years and generations to come, when people will be remembering Nnamdi Azikwe, Murtala Muhammed and now MKO Abiola through the national monuments named after them, only few will remember Obasanjo.

Argue with common sense.

How was Buhari part of those who dealt with MKO?

He was part of the northern and military oligarchy that didn't want power to shift to the south.

Abacha that was planted by the same clique then ended the 3rd republic, MKO died mysteriously in custody after a cup of tea while Buhari worked with the regime and never raised a voice. He was an enabler.

Obasanjo is ahead of MKO. He birthed the 2nd republic in 1979 and when Buhari overthrew Shagari's administration OBj remains on the side civil rule.

You are a lowlife bastard who has nothing -- nada -- to offer in life. That guy's comment was bona fide; a discerning mind will spot the genuine concern in his tone.

Let's even strip his comment down and put on a scale to ascertain its correctness:

- Is Ogun state not kicking below its capacity? A state where almost every thing pacesetting -- education, mission, literacy etc. -- was berthed. An Ogun state that welcomed the CMS; an Ogun that houses the revered Shrine of Bilikisu Sungbo (who some believe was the biblical Queen of Sheba); the Ogun of Pa Samuel Ajayi Crowther and co.! Should Abeokuta not have surpassed this current level?

- Is Ogun state not rightly the headquarters of ritual killing in the Southwest region? Go check the record of reported ritual killings and grave robberies, it is clear Ogun edges other states -- I am stating fact, and not some prejudiced bull poo (I don't do mess on this forum, I have a personality to guard).

Cut that non-mischievous fellow a slack and face your unenviable, lousy life.

are u Igbo or Yoruba

You can try harder. But have it in ur head that Obasanjo's name in the history of Nigeria has already been written in gold, no amount of hatred from you can change that.

Lastly, Obasanjo was a president, but I wish Abiola was a president.

Brainless talk. PMB was in Abacha government that murdered Abiola

The keyword in your post is "Abacha government". And the most important thing is that Buhari has done what what you guys considered an abomination and he has taken the glory. If you want to write a book on "How Buhari Murdered MKO", go ahead, we will read it. You guys bitterness and anguish just started

So, MKO had always been the "bigger boy" which OBJ didn't like even as far back as then?

No wonder OBJ hates anything that has to do with Abiola.

Unfortunately for him, the name MKO Abiola lives on even in death. With his own sterling record of being a former military HOS and civilian president twice, he may never attain the status MKO Abiola has now achieved in Nigeria.

I won't be surprised if down the line, MKO Abiola's image is embedded in one of our currency notes to spite the useless man further.

Kudos to PMB for seriously dealing with Baba Iyabo while he's alive.

people who knew obasanjo back in army said he was always shy away from the battlefront, obasanjo is not the type that will take risk for his colleagues. looking at the man, you can say he is a coward inside, he says something whenever it pleases the ears and uses this tactic to attack his opponent. obasanjo started attacking buhari and supporting atiku because Nigerians are feeling the economic pinch in the administration, but inside he is bidding for his own interest. Unfortunately, Nigeria is full of mediocre and sychophants who tolerate people like obasanjo as a leader, that is one unfortunate thing sad

History will not forgive those that have sense but decided to use their eyeballs only!

Buhari was loyal to Abacha even in death and yet he has the effrontery to take on issues that he was part of the architect that befell Bashorun! Tinubu is selling a deceitful card to the Yorubas so that they may look beyond the truth but if it gets for 20years, it remains the truth!

The main issues are left unaddressed but graves of men that are committed to a better course for this country is still fresh and will one day cry out again but this time...through us all!

if anybody is to be ashamed .
it would be the buharis babangidas abachas and the koffi annans of this world who robbed Nigeria.
if obasanjo had recognized mko the northern boys who made him president would be angry with him.
and when he is being dealt with his people won't do anything rather they will remind us how obasanjo betrayed pa awolowo and announced shagari president.

Savagery at its peak.
pmb was the petroleum minister or ptf chairman under abacha and we learnt that he have the ears of abacha.
he was among the gang that denied us democracy in 1983 and in 1993.
pmb is the bane of Nigeria .
an evil shadow lurking closely behind Nigeria and refusing to go.
showing up at the moment of joy.

The punishment God is dishing to the odi killer is actually epic.

He is alive and not senile to comprehend the man he never wanted to surpass him been given a national democracy day with his own initiated project named after him.

Obasanjo even after death would not get the status abiola has been elevated to as father of democracy

This is just the repeat of Mordecai and Herman story
