Are there cities with 300k people in Nigeria? Not villages o!
Drivers are trying their best to obey traffic lights by what I know cos the Enforcement Agencies are disguising as Almajiri to arrest anybody.
In a city with that population, the enforcement agencies will know almost every driver and residents will know almost everyone too.
If you violate any law, you can easily be located and arrested, that's why they caution themselves.
Not all their cities are like that, all those cars are not more than those of Ajah and Lekki combined.

Buhari was definitely responsible for jailing corrupt politicians for 200 years so he could not have been anyone's puppet. That alone took a lot of balls. A lot of people say Idiagbon was responsible for WAI, but he was working under Buhari in a military government with a rank lower than Buhari's so it's safe to say the buck stopped at the top.

I think it's tribalism that makes people say that.

One thing I have noticed about Buhari government is that he let's his deputy do the lesser work while he face the big guns... He will then incure the people's wrath while his deputy is praised and he seems not bothered about it either

That's the work of tickets and fines! Just impose them and ensure people pay their fines or end up in kirikiri Prison.

I was in a taxi heading from Almadies to Yoff in Dakar, Senegal, and we approached a traffic light with no traffic. I was amazed at how the taxi driver stopped and waited his turn. Other driver all gradually approached and did same. Nobody was trying to beat the traffic. There was not even a single police guy around.

I shook my head in disbelief at how civilized other countries can be and how in Naija, we all behave like animals in a jungle.

That's what good leadership is. They empower their subordinates and take the blame on themselves when things go wrong.

Nigerians should keep praying to noneexistence and useless God and paying thithes to crooked pastors.
worshipping, Awarding and Applauding their crooked leaders.

maybe one day in 100 years time their country will improve.

Every Nigerian road traffic can be like this if all the roads are marked.

You should come to Airport road in the evenings and see how cars drive one-way against traffic just to avoid having to turn at the right places. They will even be yelling at you as if they have the right of way. Honestly, our penchant for breaking every known rule under the sun as is too disheartening.
