A Nigerian man recently made the country proud after he received an academic gold medal in Canada - Identified as Ifeanyi Nwachukwu, he received the medal for having the highest academic achievement in coursework completed for any doctoral degree -

Nwachukwu graduated from a Doctor of Philosophy in human nutritional sciences from the University of Manitoba It is no news that Nigerians in diaspora often excel in almost every area they find themselves in, be it at work or in school and this story is no different.

Currently trending on social media is the achievement of a Nigerian man identified as Ifeanyi Nwachukwu, who recently received a gold medal for his academic achievements in Canada. Nwachukwu was among the five graduating students of University of Manitoba in Canada, who were awarded the Governor General’s academic medals for their outstanding achievement at their level of study.

Ifeanyi was also active in research and student activities, including serving as president of the Human Nutritional Sciences Graduate Students’ Association. He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in human nutritional sciences from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences in February, 2019.
