All listed breeds above serve both the purpose of breeding and fattening.

Uda for their Body Mass

SOURCING FOR ANIMALS (RAMS AND EWES), as an answer to above questions

LOCATIONS: Northern part of Nigeria, (the father you tend to go towards the northern part of Nigeria, the cheaper the purchase price rate of the animals). NIGER, KEBBI, ZAMFARA, TARABA, YOBE among others.

SOURCING STRATEGIES:
1. Open Markets

Cons:
* Ill-animals brought to the market to be disposed.
* Rate of adaptability is reduced (pertains to southern part of the country)
* Pure breed line not ascertain

Pros:
* Purchase Price is relatively lower
* Interactions with other local ranchers in the market (whatever that means smiley cheesy)

2. Established Ranches
Cons:
* High purchase price

Pros:
* Relative increase rate of adaptability
* Breed line certainty is high
* Animal health record can be known

PS; Mission is for successful breeding and fattening of animals.

PPS; Shepherd Hill Farms will also be supplying animals for festive (to keep the farm running, aside the challenges, profit is to be made. Thank you, Cheers wink )

How can the animals gain height? What breed is the tallest and gets fat when fed well?
Currently I own a small farm of 10 animals. I plan to expand.

The weight and height as a limit with their genetics, age and breeding (feeds).

Feeding them to gain body weight requires introduction of grains or its bye products.

For fattening purpose, Uda and Balami will be just fine.
