He said that whenever the word of God is down into the mind of man, the devil sends his demons to take the word of God away from such heart so that the hearer will not profit from it.

But I guard my heart and my lips in holiness (as helped by the Holy Spirit) because I fear God .

I just imagine his greatness and I caution myself. This helps me a lot. Basically, I look at the works of creation and I imagine myself in his presence.

This helps me to behave myself.

Also, I want to be used by the almighty. He only uses pure vessels and impurity has no place in him. I caution myself with this too
