Shepherd00:

Not all wines are alcoholic, only fermented grapes or Vines are alcoholic.

Not only Vine. If you ferment Palm juice you'd ve alcohol. if you ferment Corn, Rice, Millet, you'd have alcohol come out of them.

Fermentation turns them to alcohol, not that they are automatically alcohol.

OK o......but I think you should check the meaning of wine.

I once went to see a young lady in her aunt's shop.

She was somehow close to me then, but I had to run for my dear life.

I decided to take a stroll with her, we walked and got to a curved place that was covered with kerosine tank.

As we got there, she removed her skirt instantly, she had no underwear on, and started urinating right in my presence claiming she was pressed.

The funny thing is that she faced me while urinating
What the hell? She was obviously being used without knowing it.

Define Born Again Christian

those who have recieved Jesus as their lord and saviour by way of tye baptism of John the Baptist and most importantly, have the evidence of the fruit of the spirit in them, which are kindness, long suffering etc.

there are also those who have been accepted by god, even though they have never proclaimed unto salvation with their mouth, as can be seen in fruit of the holy ghost deeply rooted in them. these people are also BORN AGAINS. IN FACT, THEY ARE THE TRUE BORN AGAINS! EVERY OTHER PERSON MUST POSSESS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT, AS A TRUE MARK OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN HIM OTHERWISE, HE IS NOT BORN AGAIN IN ANY FORM OR MEASURE; IT DOESN'T MATTER HIW MANY TIMES THEY HAVE MADE CONFESSIONS UNTO SALVATION WITH THEIR MOUTH.

So, in your opinion someone can receive Jesus Christ into their life as the only Lord and Master and still be a member of an Occult group like the Rosicrucian Order? isn't that serving two masters?

MiddleDimension:

Pls what is the Fruit of the Holy Ghost that can be seen in a man who hasn't confessed Jesus as Lord?

because the Bible says in Rom: 10:9-10. With your mouth you confess that 'Jesus is Lord, and with your heart you believe what you confess, then you will be saved. This is the only way YHWH will accept you into His beloved.

So please I need to see scriptures that states that there's a group of Christians who got to God by themselves and not confessing and accepting Jesus.

Okay, this class of 'True Born Agains' are the ones who also join Ogboni and AMORC abi? Isorite.

Do you know who the Holy Spirit is?

What is the Mark of the Holy Spirit.

Finally, can you give 5 names of born again Christians you know who are members of AMORC? Remember you said there's nothing wrong and hidden about AMORC, so their membership shouldn't be hidden.

I'll share just very few.

I was waiting upon the Lord and as I was praying I saw the heavens open and fire coming down to engulf me like a mighty hedge and I became impenetrable.

I prayed and waited more I saw fire again from heaven envelope my mouth and my mouth was full of fire.

I prayed and waited and that's when I saw a greater shock. I saw my tongue transform into a very sharp sword with 2 edges. I got so confused and didn't know the meaning, till the Spirit led me to the book of revelation.
God told me as from today anyone you bless is blessed, and anyone you curse is cursed.

The will of God is to transform everyone to Christ's image.

There were 2 types of wine in the Bible days, fresh wine and fermented wine.

Fresh wine wasn't alcoholic, but fermented wine was.

The water that Jesus turned to wine, was fresh wine and not fermented wine.

The wine that Paul told Timothy to drink was fresh wine and not fermented wine.

Its wrong for Christians to take alcoholic beverages.
I missed this post for long. Some "Christians" are quick to give carnal interpretation for self justification but same folks will never allow the dead bury their dead literally or cast their bread upon the water in a bid to find it after many days as literally commanded by bible.

The devil knows who to use sexual temptation on and who not to bother trying it on with

EnthronedbyGod:
It has been the most potent from time immemorial.
It is true, its the most potent tactic from time immemorial used on fallen ones, but notice that the devil never tried the sex temptation trick with Jesus Christ, but instead went for other types of lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes with Him. Now the devil with this other particular lust of the flesh had nothing to do with sex and/or a fruit, like as was with Eve and the lust of the eyes, had nothing to do with sex, like as was with King David and Bathsheba.

Please ignore the fearless cat in the above picture, that's a red herring, the real objects of interest in the above picture, are the self-disciplined Alsatian German Shepherd dogs, staying in their stations and not going chasing after the bold and without a care in the world taking a stroll cat. That is the beauty of self-discipline, captured in "a picture is worth a thousand words" taken shot.

Some cats can be left to guard a fish without eating it and some can be given a bowl of milk to guard without licking it.
Now, if one is not fortified, if one is not grounded in the word of God, if one is not standing on the word of God, if one loses focus on God, and if one is not self disciplined, then one is giving the devil a freehand and easy access to try and exploit weakness or dent(s) in ones armour

Dont bother, its a rhetoric question, because the former is Greek, while the latter is Hebrew, the light bulb moment about the two words, is that they both mean the same thing, as in, mean alcoholic/fermented drink

Jesus avoided using the Greek word "oinos" and the Hebrew word "yayin", because both means intoxicating wine, as in, obviously a fermented/alcoholic drink/intoxicating wine

2/ Was it because of drinking grape fruit juice and/or fresh wine that's not fermented, erhn?

- Re: Cultism, The Spiritual Consequences And Deliverance Through Christ by MuttleyLaff: 12:50am On Aug 11

Nwanne, it has already been typed that drinking alcoholics is for merriment, to cheer oneself up, for socialising etcetera, but never to be abused, never to be misused, never to get drunk on, and surely never to be addicted to

I used myself as part of the discussion, that personally, I dont necessarily drink alcohol, that it has nothing to do with doctrine per se, but truly, the reason is, I have the right to do anything but not everything really is that beneficial to me. Of course, it was 1 Corinthians 6:13 I paraphrased in my last sentence, so yeah, drinking alcohol isnt really profitable, at least not for me, and besides I am more of a social drinker than a habitual one anyway.

Also raised the fact that, when Paul was advising Timothy about dealing with his health issues, it wasnt fruit juice or fresh wine that's not fermented, Paul was advising Timothy to take drink for his health issues etcetera

How fresh wine or fresh wine that's not fermented, as in, wine with no alcoholic content, can relieve someone in ailing health like Timothy was is baffling. We ought to recognise that the Greek word used by Paul, in 1 Timothy 5:23, is the word "oinos", which means intoxicating wine, as in, obviously a fermented/alcoholic drink. Grape fruit juice doesnt fire anyone up in the stomach, it is very good alcoholic wine, that shakes you up and shudders you, so that all that sickness dissipates and flies off the body. That is why Paul recommended alcoholic wine and not grape fruit juice nor fresh wine that's not fermented, to Timothy. Lets be clear on this truth and accept it as fact.

I recall it being typed too, that the aftermath of the abuse and/or misuse of wine/alcohol is unbecoming. Also that, drunkenness and addiction to wine/alcohol is a behaviour not fitting or appropriate for any son/daughter of God. Even Ephesians 5:18 was cited as being, a very informative and a useful verse concerning the preferred state of being drunk and preferred sort of intoxication (i.e. Holy Spirit intoxicant) Worldly intoxicants, like beverages, medicines etcetera used the right way and in safe doses is not bad or wrong

As generationz highlighted we don suppose to have passed these scare tactics stages. Education and knowledge instead of using heavy handed tactics and scare strategies

Self control (i.e. self-discipline) is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. You better fervently begin to pray for the manifestation of self control (i.e. self-discipline) if you're not enjoying and not tasting it in the fruit of the Holy Spirit you're eating, that's if at all you're eating it. Some just leave the fruit of Holy Spirit sitting on a fruit bowl on the dinning table serving as a decoration, without bothering to eat and enjoy tasting it.

nice work you're doing here OP

@enthronedbyGrace

may God bless and increase you in all aspect of life according to his will.

please sir, I have a question.

How do witchcraft operate?
How do they initiate people?
Is a witch just some one that flies in the night??
what's their main aim? like why do they target people who have done them no wrong?
can someone be a witch without knowing?
How can their power be totally broken over a life and family?

I once heard someone said that if a far-away witch wants to destroy a person, she'll use another witch close to that person, is this true?

I've noticed that most people that sell food, akara, okpa etc. are mostly considered witches and I'm beginning to think it's a way of manipulating the destinies of people in a territory through what they sell??

Please what's your opinion as the Spirit of God reveals to you sir?

I'm sorry for the plenty questions

As much as some people have tried in the past to put an end/ or save this nation called Nigeria in the past (e.g Fela, Gani Fawehinmi, Nnamdi KANU, Saro wiwa to mention just a few), they were either frustrated, arrested or killed. This is because the demonic forces holding down Nigeria is too strong and Nigeria cannot be freed by ANY HUMAN ABILITY.

1 SAM 2:9 SAYS He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; FOR BY STRENGTH SHALL NO MAN PREVAIL.

We can only silent the wicked in Nigeria by doing it the way of CHRIST.
Sowoore also tried to move for freedom of Nigerians recently bbut we all saw what the government did to him. They knew long before Sowoore that respite is coming to Nigerians and just like herod tried to kill the baby Jesus, they are doing everything to silence anybody that stands up to challenge their UNHIDDEN hatred and annihilation of Christians.
