The governor of Gombe state Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who was represented by his Deputy Dr. Manassah Jatau Ph.D, has charged Batch B stream 1 corps members to adapt to the culture of the people of the state. He stated this today in Amada, temporary orientation camp at the swearing in ceremony of 1654 corps; 901 males, and 753 females. His address partly reads" The NYSC scheme established forty six years ago has come a long way. "Without mincing words, I give it credit for been the only institution in this country that has done so much to curb ethnicity, sectionalism, and tribalism. "The scheme has also been a means to mould the Nation into a united entity devoted to the rapid socio-political and economic development of the good people of Nigeria. " my administration shall focus more on youth empowerment, education and healthcare delivery" he stated.





The state coordinator Mr. David Markson, appealed to the governor to provide the scheme a befitting camp he said "The permanent orientation camp in Mallam sidi, Kwami local government area has been given out for another assignment. " The absence of a permanent structure for that long period has not only affected activities of the scheme in the state but also the number of corps members deployed for the one year mandatory service" he added.



The corps members lined up across their various platoons with various tags signifying their core values which includes Integrity, Discipline, team work and so on.

Medical issues
This information is very important for those of us that will be posted to places we don't like and don't have money to work relocation in camp which is usually 35k - 45k.
Medical issues is the only sure way to get redeployment letter or relocation letter without spending much at most #3000 and the chance of success is cap at 80% and if you know how to play your part the chances of success can be increase to 100% ( don't worry I can teach you how to play your part).
So, what is this medical issues am talking about. This has to do with writing a letter and attaching a medical report with it as evidence to backup your claim.
For example let say I hv asthma and I am posted to the northern part of Nigeria (where there is much dust and sand) for my Nysc. What do expect to happen to the person? Surely, the person is going to find it very difficult to survive because of the dust. So, Nysc as taken this into consideration and they allow people with this medical issues or something similar or worst to redeploy to any state of their choice (Note any state of their choice).
