Maybe, if Nigerian artistes didn't go begging foreign artistes all the time for collabos, some of these insults would have been unuttered... Fela, Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Sunny Okosun, etc.. didn't need all that asslicking when their exceptional talents and quality of music were enough to break international barriers... In case those names flew over your young heads, lemme drop these too: Angelique Kidjo, Hugh Maskela, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Brenda Fassie, etc...

Summary: our artistes must seriously start doing real music, and cut out the unAfrican noise.

I'm a follower of Angelique kidjo and most of kora singers....the level of respect, support they have in western world is awesome.their concerts are filled with non- African Whiteside and blacks .this shows how creative/recognised/appreciated/influencial their music are....even the likes of Femi Kuti,KSA,nneka etc also get such recognition

our modern artistes should learn to be creative and innovative in their music
