Being in a relationship is something that many people aspire to. This is because of the so many benefits to be gained in it. It is a chance to connect with a person and share part of yourself with them.

Being in a relationship could be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on the circumstances or depending on whatever either of those involved are experiencing.

There are some things that can destroy perfect relationships and if care is not taken, one may lose a wonderful relationship to them. When one loses a good relationship, there is a chance that one could get into another relationship that is far terrible and which has a lot of terrible consequences.

INSECURITY

Insecurity refers to a lack of confidence, uncertainty or anxiety about oneself. This is very common in relationships where one spouse is afraid that he or she is going to lose the people they love to someone else.

Their partners could put on a dress or have something valuable. Insecurity sets in and they begin to get anxiety. Gradually, distrust sets in and before the couple know it, the relationship is ended.

JEALOUSY

Cambridge dictionary defines jealousy as a feeling of unhappiness and anger because someone has something or someone that you want.

This attribute is one of the destroyers of good relationships. A partner would be jealous of his or her partner interacting with someone else. There are some spouses or partners that would fly into a rage just by seeing their partners hug someone else.

Jealousy leads to lack of trust and insecurity. Jealousy is good; it shows that you really love your partner. However, if it is too much, there is a big chance that the relationship will not last.

LACK OF COMMUNICATION

This is common in some long distance relationships. The two people in the relationship could be too busy to even think about the people they claim to love. The truth is that if you really love a person, communicating with them on a daily basis would not be a problem for you.

When the communication between couples decrease, the relationship is already on the path of destruction.

INADEQUATE TRUST/LACK OF TRUST

Trust is one of the basics or characteristics of love. If you are in a relationship and you do not trust your partner or spouse, then there is certainly no love. A relationship without trust is already doomed.
