The guy probably didn't know that even a certificate already issued by a university can still be suspended or "withdrawn" by simply placing an embargo on it with a written declaration such as this.

Next time he'll think twice before posting trash on social media.

A students relationship with the university and requirements for award of his certificate is a contract that is time bound and regulated by NUC. Ends at graduation. Alumini previledges is a different thing all together.

Further, the man likely did not lie. Rather must have cleaned up his course registration sheets through the back door, removing the multiple failures, which is probably why he won't show up for the panel. If the university wants proper investigations they should look at the result sheet for those courses over the years in question.

Nigeria's are quick to react, he might have lied about his grade in bio but did he lie about the lecturer denying him his true grades? Did he also lie about him meeting the lecturer years later? This was how everyone reacted when the guy posted his news.

Sometimes we should get to the bottom of things before conclusions. We don't even know if that is the so called lecturers handiwork posting this on the net to clear his name. Because the thing get as e be, how will that guy cone out to post that robust lie? What's his gain?? Lets all think

You cannot abort a child after she has already been born, and dude has already fulfilled all of the requirements of the certificate. It’s one thing if he forged the WASC certificate which he used to gain admission or his grades or was fraudulent in respect of certain academic or other requirements for his certificate or graduation. But simply making up a tall tale on the Internet about being victimized by an un-named lecturer is unlikely to hold up in a court of law as valid grounds for POST-university de-certification. If the university is in some nebulous way worried about its ‘reputation”, then an official statement detailing the correct facts would have sufficed. This is an attempt to kill a fly with a nuclear bomb!
