Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has just signed for Qingdao Huanghai, in the Chinese second tier.

The 36-year-old Ivorian legend has not played since having his contract at Greek side Olympiakos terminated in December 2018.

At one point, he even had to deny reports that he had retired from professional football after his agent said he had "ended his career as a champion".

The former Barcelona and Man City star has now moved to China (just days after Rafa moved to the country).

In a statement published on his personal website, Yaya Toure said the move was out of his love for challenges and is looking forward to making history with Qingdao Huanghai Football Club.
