Apply the right strategies and make money from real estate By Bakare Abayomi Real estate marketing refers to the various activities or processes involved in the letting or sale of a property.While marketing, refer to the various techniques that can be used to bring about the sale or letting of real estate. From the above definitions , you can agree with me that in the real estate business, that effective techniques and strategies are needed to successfully sell or let a property in the competitive real estate market. The visible problems Today, a lot of people are into real estate business. This has made the property market very competitive. A lot of estate agents go into all kinds of dubious and diabolical means to sell or let out a property.Some use the traditional means called "juju" to hypnotize clients in other for the clients to buy a property from them. It is also unfortunate that some ladies offer cheap sex to male clients. There is also a rise in the act of lesbianism and homosexuality in the real estate business. All these are done in other to close a deal. As an independent real estate agent, these are the kinds of evils you have to compete with. However, you can distinguish yourself. You can become a shining example of success. If you have not been making sales, or closing big deals. If you have been having a hard time in letting out properties, there is hope for you. It is obvious that you have been taking the wrong approach at marketing.If you apply the following strategies,you will surely have a new story to tell. Strategies 1) Market mostly direct briefs: If you really want to make it big in real estate, it is always in your best interest to secure and market mostly direct briefs.The problem of many real agents is that they want to market a property that has a chain of several agents involved. Those kinds of properties usually turn off clients. A rich client may not want to associate himself with a herd of agents fighting over agency fee and sharing formula.So, if you really want to make money from real estate, you need to advance your approach and get serious. Try as much as possible to get direct briefs from clients, or a brief that has at most two other agents involved. You can get direct briefs by; canvassing: you walk around and scout for vacant property. Get the contact of the owner.
