Abubakar Ibrahim, son of a former Kogi State Governor, Ibrahim Idris, will be challenging incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello in the November 16 Kogi governorship election.

Bello is seeking the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) while Ibrahim is chasing the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The two contenders obtained their nomination documents at the Abuja national headquarters of their parties yesterday.

After collecting his forms, Bello declared that those accusing him of non-performance have not visited Kogi State. Ibrahim, however, countered the governor, saying that Bello has become a huge liability to the people in the three and half years of his administration. Ibrahim, who said the governor’s record of poor performance is unprecedented in the country, declared that this informed his decision to challenge Bello at the poll.

Politheiftians.

BTW. Virtually every Nigerian is a thief and would personalize the national cake for himself and families.

Come to our universities and see how professors are installing their kids.

That's why i believe most of those insulting politicians are hypocrites.

That he is the son of a former Governor even makes him more experienced than most people. If his people likes him, he can be voted in. We are only against installing your family members as an incumbent as okorocha wanted to do in Imo
