Lesbianism: Ogun Police declare suspect, partner wanted

The Ogun State Police Command has declared wanted one Olatundun Amodemaja and her partner (name withheld) for allegedly engaging in bisexual and lesbianism.

According to police reports, the suspects were involved in the acts contrary to various provisions of the same sex marriage (Prohibition) Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2013.

The Police had however disclosed that it was in search of Olatundun after she refused to honour the invitation sent to her to appear before the police.

The officer in charge of the case noted that Olatundun and her partner have been at large since investigation into the case commenced.

The police therefore urged members of the public to provide useful information on the whereabouts of the two suspects.

Wait Oga DPO, maybe the ladies assumed that honoring an invitation is voluntary, and not mandatory.

My understanding of this misunderstanding is that The police issued a cordial invitation to two women, who unfortunately were unable to attend the scheduled meeting.

Surely there can be no problem with that.
