This is very bad. But the worst is the section of the who were busy reporting that the lady was killed by the Fulani herdsmen as if they were at the incident scene. The aim was only to instigate hatred against a particular tribe. From the statement of the driver, those would probably be armed rubbers or kidnappers. And I will not be surprised that one of those in the entourage masterminded the crime. So it's disturbing how people rushed to report about the people who did it as if they have information that we don't have.

So sad, may her soul rest in peace.

However from the eye witness account of her driver, there was nothing to even suggest that the attack was done by herds men.

It makes any thinker wonder if we just started having masked armed robbers on our highways. Did they all suddenly repent at once?

We should be careful in labeling every killing in the south to herds men because not only does it mean we cannot find the real killers as we are pointing in the wrong direction, but we are also dancing to the tune of enemies of this country who seem to want a war between Yoruba and the North for their selfish and wicked interests.
it will be erroneous to just accept the story on face value my opinion though...

Many times when I was younger travelling on that road we escaped and experienced deadly robberies...

And to think I schooled at okada.. I should be the last to accept it... Because I know how deadly that axis is..
Or perhaps things have changed...

In 1998 my brother shot at robbers there because they were shooting at us, he had his gun licensed ofcourse.. He was furious and I was in my teens but I saw action movie life.. They scampered for safety..

Insecurity in the country will only get worse... And even the elite will not be spares as we are now seeing happening. SANUSI Lamido Sanusi predicted this during the 2013 Silver bird anniversary. I will never forget those words of his.

In as much as I don't support the killings we should stop spreading hate. The politicians are using '' divide and rule strategy '' on us through ethnicity and religion until we go beyond that Nigeria will never be a better Country.

Even if the entire country divides we'll still be divided amongst us because we've seen it as a way of life.

Until we're United we can't choose a rightful leader based on merit we'll continue to suffer until we've sense and stand against the Elites who are the real Enemy.

If you are a good student of history in this country, then you will know that the Yoruba have a way of sorting themselves out of whatever situation they find themselves.

Trust me,whatever security challenges we are currently having in Oodua land (Yoruba land) will be effectively dealt with. We are not beret of ideas on how to secure our land. We are more than capable of doing that. But like a good war General that we are, we will never rush to the battlefield like some fools.

I assure you that even Nigeria Army ,with all its arsenal, cannot overrun Yoruba land ,that is a fact if you care to know. The faceless ethnic bandits currently disturbing our peace will be dealt with at the appropriate time.

You sounded though like someone that has a grudge against Yoruba people. I'm afraid if you don't bury that grudge,it will be a longer ride for you!

When I said yesterday that Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fashola and other APC politicians from Southwest will react and twist the story to start blaming GEJ and PDP, while exonerating Fulani herdsmen that killed the woman, you guys thought I was joking, we see far beyond what you guy's ordinary eyes can't see angry

Sense is far from u. Why are Nigerian masses so gullible. Use your tongue and count your teeth. I dont know when Nigerian youths of this generation will be man enough to resist manipulation by some elements in power. When Olu Falae was kidnapped in d same geographical region, it was masked gunmen until the truth came out that it was Fulani herdsmen. Be consoling yourself while Fulani herdsmen under the disguise of masked gunmen and armed robbers continue to have a field day wiping out your ethnic group. Am sure its the Igbos that killed her in your own reasoning, ONUKWU!!

If anything shouldn't be taken at face value, it is the story of mischievous elements who accused herdsmen without a shred of proof.

Not the eye witness account of her driver.

here u go again... bro the enemy is the killer of ur kin.... stop pointing the man far away in his house... face the snake at ur door step... if u say she was not killed by the herdsmen..... so be it, is ur fight, is ur battle deal with it as u see fit

no body cares what happen between SW and the north, SW dont even have the guts to go war if it results that way...

Poor logical thinking..Mr man, get some sense! Anybody can wear masks to perpetuate a crime..Herdsmen by virtue of their easy identification from their peculiar physical looks can disguise under masks to avoid recognition. The ones that attacked a community recently in Benue were masked Fulani jihadists..

So you believe all these edited, twisted story that the killers were masked men

My friend's family and their convoy escaped similar attack on that same route around Benin expressway 7 days ago.

In their case, the Fulani terrorists weren't wearing any mask; the lanky light skin Fulani guy was in the middle of the road shooting sporadically at all vehicles approaching, but he didn't know they had 2 Mopol escort who immediately responded by firing directly at him, and he ran back into the bush.

If they didn't had the Mopol escort, it would have been another sad news that day. They recorded the live video of the event, and many other security men; Mopol arrived and all of them were attesting in the video that Fulani herdsmen have taken over Benin-Ore-Ijebu-Ode expressway up to Benin Byepass.

So stop listening to your crooked politicians trying not to hurt their strained relationship with the terrorist at Aso Rock.

Fulanis perpetrating all these evil in Nigeria seem not to be from Nigeria, but they are working in tandem with Nigerian Fulani groups.

Nigerians should continue listening to politicians. I am sure this woman once believed the lies of Yoruba politicians that Yoruba roads and land is secured, that nobody can dare invade Yoruba land, but today she has paid the huge price.

All Nigerians must come together to fight this monster Buhari's government has brought upon Nigerians.

In a saner nation Buhari ought to have resigned as Nigerians will shutdown the whole country with protest.

See what is happening in Hong Kong now, is it close to what is happening in Nigeria and they have shutdown the country demanding for change.

How can Nigerians be awake and allow Fulani herdsmen from Chad, Niger, Burkina-Faso, CAR, etc to overrun their country killing Nigerians like fowls angry

Btw: APC started the hateful attack as opposition party and has created the solid foundation of hate, falsehood and media propaganda.

In addition, Buhary the hate-filled president who double as a Bigot is hate-filled terrorist. 97% vs 5%.
