The Message

Having an identity is one of the pillars of wisdom. To be identifiable is to be known for something no matter what happens.

It also means staying put to a course one believes in.

For example, it could be one’s faith, profession, discovery and so on.

Furthermore, it is sticking to one’s gift or calling untill it produces the desired result.

An understanding of the subject of identity makes a man outstanding on earth.

People are stranded today, not because they have not discovered themeselves, but because they fail to stay by those discoveries until they become known.

In Daniel 3:31-18, the three Hebrews bodly made their identity known as true believers in God by refusing to compromise.

Besides, they did not bow to the graven image set up by the king despite the threats of death via fiery furnace.

The question is, what are you known for or what do you stand for.

Except you stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Many years ago, Someone asked that reknown American evangelist’s associate why he did not start his own ministry.

He answered, ‘I would rather be number two in God’s plan than be number one in my own plan‘.

His destiny was divinely tied to that of Graham and he stays put. Your identity is your strenght.

No one can make meaningful impact except one is known for something. Where effort or energy one is known for something.

Where effort or energy is concentrated impact becomes very strong.

Drop this idea of running from pillar to pole, chasing after too many things at a time. It will take you nowhere at the end.

Besides, you would have wasted hard-earned resources, time and energy in the process.

Prayerfully narrow down your target and pursuit and make you an authority.
