This guy at his age can retire in say 8yrs, go for a 3 year degree and get at least way above minimum wage job.

Bad move. Being a graduate even in a mumu country like this has several benefits.

Those western countries you mentioned will not accept you as a permanent resident without a degree. A degree gives one massive points when migrating. Besides even if you gain permanent residence, they'll hire their own citizens over you in those jobs.
